The DEWALT 4-1/2″ x 7/8″ 60-Grit Zirconia Type 29 Flap Disc (often identified as model DW8308 or DWA8207) is a versatile “medium” abrasive. It strikes a balance between rapid material removal and a cleaner surface finish.
FEATURES

Size (4-1/2″): Fits standard small angle grinders.
Arbor (7/8″): This is a smooth-bore hole. Unlike the threaded version, you will need your grinder’s original flange and lock nut to secure this disc to the spindle.
Grit (60G): Classified as a “medium” grit. It is fine enough to remove scratches left by a 36 or 40-grit disc, but aggressive enough to level light welds and remove scale.
Type 29 (Conical): The angled shape is designed for maximum surface contact at a 20∘ to 25∘ angle. It is excellent for edge grinding and contoured shapes.

Zirconia Alumina: A high-performance grain that outlasts standard aluminum oxide. It is “self-sharpening,” meaning it fractures during use to expose new cutting edges.
