The DEWALT 4-1/2″ x 7/8″ 80-Grit Type 29 HP Flap Disc (Model DW8309 or DWA8208) is a high-performance (HP) finishing disc. While the 40-grit is for “stripping” and the 60-grit is “multi-purpose,” the 80-grit is specifically designed for refining and smoothing.
